Nutrigenomic Testing

Nutritional Genomics is the scientific study of individualized genetics and nutrition. Nutrigenomics testing identifies a patient’s genetic protein variations to identify sites of metabolic weakness. These key proteins are involved in signaling pathways in the cell, enzyme conversion and nutritional delivery. Expert physicians at GX Science designed genetic panels that evaluates up to 55 of the most commonly researched and validated single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP’s) that can affect a patient’s ability to regain and maintain their metabolic function.

Each Nutrigenomic report identifies SNP’s and recommends supplements based on scientific proof of each patient’s needs in 13 different health categories.

Abnormalities in specific polymorphisms can negatively affect many physiological and metabolic processes. Overcoming these metabolic weaknesses with the right supplement allows each patient to maximize their genetic variations (SNP’s) and maintain optimal health.

  • Testing will determine unique nutritional needs based on each patient’s individual DNA analysis
  • Provides patients with the recommended nutritional supplements and nutrients needed for each specific genetic polymorphism (SNP)
  • Takes the “guess-work” out of complex biochemical pathways that may hinder nutritional delivery.
