Nutritional Genomics is the scientific study of individualized genetics and nutrition. Nutrigenomics testing identifies a patient’s genetic protein variations to identify sites of metabolic weakness. These key proteins are involved in signaling pathways in the cell, enzyme conversion and nutritional delivery. Expert physicians at GX Science designed genetic panels that evaluates up to 55 of the most commonly researched and validated single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP’s) that can affect a patient’s ability to regain and maintain their metabolic function.
Each Nutrigenomic report identifies SNP’s and recommends supplements based on scientific proof of each patient’s needs in 13 different health categories.

A cheek swab sample is all that is needed. A custom cheek swab is provided in each kit so the lab has sufficient DNA to examine.
In most cases, Dr. Blades will receive results in 7-10 business. GX Sciences notifies our practice when the results and your report are ready.
Nutrigenomic Testing is not covered by Insurance Providers at this time.
